Grawp, a giant and Hagrid's half-brother,makes his debut in 2003's Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. In thenovel, Hagrid makes a plea to Harry to keep his brother company if he getsfired by Dolores Umbridge (played in the films by The Crown's Imelda Staunton),and he explains that Grawp isn't the creature's name. Instead, Hagrid says"Grawp" is "what it sounds like when he says his name."Unfortunately, the Harry Potter movies also include Grawp but don't solve themystery. Likewise, despite J.K. Over the years, fans have raised several questions about theHarry Potter films and J.K. Rowling's books, wondering about confoundingmysteries and perceived plot holes.
